Wendt & Kühn was founded in 1915 in Grünhainichen, in the heart of the Erzgebirge, by Grete Wendt and Olga Kühn. Each angel is still hand-painted according to the studio's original wing-dot system, which collectors use to identify the specific painter and year — turning every piece into both décor and a documented collectible.
Timeless charm is displayed by the highly collectible German Wendt & Kuehn Angel Figurines. They are displayed in the Grunhainichener Orchestra, and also are enjoying winter fun. Winter Angels, Snowflake Angels and Goodwill Angels and of course the famous Orchestra Angels are all here. The Orchestra Angels have green wings with their signature 11 dots.
