This Emperor Franz Joseph German Nutcracker is in his summer of 1862 uniform in light blue. There is a lot of small color ornamentation in his summer garb, and he stands a proud 34 cm tall (just under 13 1/2 inches) and was made by craftsmen in the workshops in the area where the wooden nutcracker was first made, Seiffen Germany.
