White Formal King German Nutcracker. Dressed in his Royal White Formal tunic but with colorful contrasting Red and Gold highlights this White Formal King German Nutcracker stands a proud 37 cm (just about 14 1/2 inches) and was handcrafted in Seiffen in the woodshops nestled in the Erzgebirge Mountain region of Germany where the wooden nutcracker was first created! This White Formal King German Nutcracker was made by the Fuchtner family and it was Wilhelm Friedrich Fuchtner that is credited with first creating the wooden nutcracker back in 1870. As far back as 1786 Gotthelf Friedrich Fuchtner was selling wooden figurines at the Dresdener Striezel Market to supplement his family’s carpenter business. White Formal King German Nutcracker is signed by Volker Fuchtner the head of the family Nutcracker business (and Volker Fuchtner is the 6th generation of Fuchtner’s running this Nutcracker family business). A true collectible that has a history and a beauty that will last for generations to come.
Fill your Holiday home with a German Nutcracker collection that will make a stunning centerpiece for your mantle or dining table.
