These German Nutcracker Kings are both traditional and resplendent, and will bring holiday spirit and color to your home.  Created first in the 1870s as a way of portraying the authority figures that surrounded the villagers life, these Nutcrackers are now cherished hierlooms, and part of Christmas Traditions.  These Nutcracker Kings are made by the Artisan Coop, KWO and Richard Glaesser in the Erzgebirge Mountain region of Germany where the wooden Nutcracker was first "born".
