Using a lathe to hold his tree as he shaves the bark into place, and with a pile of shavings at his feet (along with his cat) and toys at his side, this craftsman is creating wonder from wood. The Erzgebirge Mountain Woodcraftsman German Smoker comes in his own wooden crate. (Note his own wood-shaved beard). Stands about 9 3/4 inches tall, he was created in the Erzgebirge Mountain village workshops, in Seiffen Germany.
