This Chalet style Four Friends Cuckoo Clock is 12 inches tall, and on the porch of the chalet are four friends:  two move to the cuckoo call, and the other two beerdrinkers move to the music on the half and full hours.  On one side of the drinking friends is a beautifully carved pine tree, and the other side has a waterwheel that turns.  Above the four beerdrinking friends are handpainted Black Forest Dancing couples, the men have on their peddlars-packs and lederhosen, and the ladies are dressed in their dirndls and Black Forest hats. In the rafters you have the wooden Cuckoo, who calls on the full and half hour.  Two melodies (Edelweis and Happy Wanderer) play, and there is a night shut-off lever.  The chain needs to be pulled to wind the clock every day. Made in the heart of Germanys Black Forest by the Schneider Cuckoo Clock company.
