ChristKindl-Markt was started in 1993 by Ruth Krawzcyk as a brick and mortar shop. Five years later, Ruth took the shop online, with a web address of ChristKindlMarkt-inc.com. In 2005 Patty Silla bought the business and relocated the online business to Shippensburg PA, the home of many Plain People (Amish & Buggy Mennonite) and the Shippensburg University. The company name was changed to ChristKindl-Markt with a web address of ChristKindl-Markt.com.

Today the web site has grown to over 2000 items, all imported from Germany. Everything that is listed or shown on this site is instock. We do not list out of stock items. Our savings can be passed on to you with our ordering directly from the manufacturers in the Erzgebirge Region of Germany. This direct relationship has given ChristKindl-Markt a wide variety of German Pyramids, Smokers and Nutcrackers. It has also been the reason service and pyramid replacement parts are a part of what is offered to our customers.

ChristKindl-Markt has a full warehouse of German handmade items, from Christmas Carousels to German Smokers, from Nutcrackers made in the same village where the original Nutcrackers were first made in the 1870s to Music Boxes. And the list goes on: Figurines, Decoupage Eggs to fill, German Incense, Cuckoo Clocks, Napkins.... you just have to spend some time looking through the site to see the wide array of fine German gifts.

ChristKindl-Markt also stocks many pyramid replacement parts, and you can see the parts with their measurements right online, so you can order them there.
