This Eight day Half Timbered Beer Drinker Cuckoo Clock is 12 1/2 inches tall, and is a very detailed and wonderfully crafted.  The handpainted wooden Black Forest Dancing couples, dance around to the music on the full hour while the handcarved and handpainted Beer Drinker lifts his stein and the waterwheel turns, all with the large wooden cuckoos call.  Note the handcarved leaves decorating the front of the chalet, and the deeply carved pinetrees on the sides. There is a night shut-off, and it needs to be wound only once each week, which means the chain needs to be pulled once a week to wind the clock.  Made in the heart of Germanys Black Forest by the Schneider Cuckoo Clock company.
