This Eight day Chalet style Beer Drinker and Woodchopper Cuckoo Clock is 12 1/2 inches tall and needs to be wound only once each week.  In the rafters you have beautiful handcrafted wooden dancing couples, who dance around to the music while the Beer Drinker raises his stein, the Woodchopper lifts his axe and the waterwheel turns on the hour (set on the side of the chalet under its own roof and fence with flower box) - with the cuckoos call.  A truly wonderful piece of practical art for your home.  Note the little dog watching his master with hopeful eyes!  There is an automatic night shut-off for the cuckoo call and music.  Contains Swiss music movement with 2 melodies (usually Edelweiss and The Happy Wanderer).  The chain needs to be pulled once a week to wind the clock.  Made in the heart of Germanys Black Forest by the Schneider Cuckoo Clock company.
