This magnificent eight day, music and dancing Carved Woodsman Cuckoo Clock is a stately 30 inches tall, and has a mounted deer head with a very full set of antlers at the top, and a handcarved bird on one side, and a woodsman with his dog on the other side.  Just under the wooden Cuckoo are the handpainted Black Forest dancing couple figurines who turn to the music (Edelweiss or Happy Wanderer).  A hunters horn encircles the wooden dial with wooden hands and a hunters bag is at the bottom of the clock.  Oak leaves are scattered around the clock, and are also on the pendulum.  The Carved Woodsman Cuckoo Clock has an eight day movement, which means the chain needs to be pulled once a week to wind the clock.  Made in the heart of Germanys Black Forest by the Schneider Cuckoo Clock company.
